October Update | Italy 2011

Hi,
Hope we are all enjoying the last bit of summer!
Busy times ahead as we journey the remainder of 2011.
October sees us head out to Italy for a bunch of shows, performing both OUS and Telescopes sets on almost every date. Here's the final schedule:

Oct 6th - Lille (FR), Le Select
Oct 7th - Fribourg (SW), Le Belvedere et le mouton noir (Telescopes Only)
Oct 8th - Domodossola (IT), Cafe Guapos
Oct 9th - Milan (IT), La Sacrestia (No Fun Festival)
Oct 10th - Ferrara (IT), Zuni (Telescopes Only)
Oct 11th - Massa (IT), Tagomago
Oct 12th - Rome (IT), Circolo Artisti
Oct 13th - Bari (IT), Aquaviva delle Fonti. Oasi San Martino
Oct 14th - Brescia (IT), Lio Bar

As is the norm, check Facebook for more specific details.

Oct 2nd also sees the release of our new single 'Hey Alchemist/Neuralgia' on ltd ed 7'. Following their relocation to LA, Eat Light Become Lights played their final UK show for the foreseeable future at Cargo in London recently. For those who missed this awesome spectacle,here's footage of the closing track 'White Horses'.
You can't see them, but stage left were Byron and Nick on Guitar and noise boxes adding to the overall glorious cacophony. Great times!

In November we will be heading back into the studio to record new tracks for an upcoming split single. More on that as and when.
On December the 1st we will be doing a Telescopes set at Corsica Studios. Supports to be confirmed. This will be the first full band 'scopes set in London following the ATP show.
That should do for now :)

The Telescopes + One Unique Signal - Italy 2011

We now pretty much have all dates agreed for the upcoming tour with the exception of Saturday 15th October. Any promoters in Northern Italy, Switzerland or France that would be interested, then please email us at info@oneuniquesignal.com ASAP.

Europe News

Hi all :)
Thanks for your support on the two shows last weekend. They actually came off a lot better than our preparation had suggested and attendance wise we were really pleased! We met people who had travelled from as far afield as Japan, Mexico and even Northampton! 
We are nearing lift off on our Italian tour and almost have all dates confirmed. Please keep an eye on the shows page for the latest as this is where news will appear first. So far we have Lille (FR), Domodossola (IT), Milan (IT), Rome (IT), Bari (IT) and Brescia (IT). We are still hopeful of hitting Switzerland and possibly another date in France too. 
Don't forget the Download of our new single is available from iTunes and all the others and that the ltd ed 7' will be out on Oct 3rd. These can be pre ordered from Genepool Records. Who knows, if we sell enough, we may get to do another album :)

FREE Show this Friday (16th)

Ok, it's not an OUS show as such, but with outstanding effort by Dream Machine Records we have secured the Pig and Whistle in W10 to bring you a free entry event featuring The Telescopes (noise set), The Cush (over from the US on a European tour) and a super rare performance by Rohame (feat. Jodie from Narrows/Tropics, doom drone solo artist Anji Cheung and Byron & Nick from OUS). The Telescopes set will be played out across a film by Bridget Hayden.

The Pig and Whistle is located right by Latimer Road tube, the venue does legendary pizza, the beer is cheap and it'll cost you nothing to get in!

This is a DIY event run by the bands involved so we really hope you can make it along.

New Single...

Our new single 'Hey Alchemist / Neuralgia' is available now digitally on iTunes and others. It's less than £2 for both tracks so why not knock the triple choc Magnum on the head tonight and pop over to iTunes for some fresh dirge :)

The Ltd Ed 7" will be out on Oct 3rd via Genepool Records.
